What is RankTwig actually for?
RankTwig shows two visibility realities in one workspace: how your site is moving in Google and whether AI assistants actually surface your brand. Then it helps you investigate what changed and decide what deserves attention next.
What is AI Visibility?
RankTwig builds a small reproducible prompt baseline, checks the same discovery and brand prompts across ChatGPT and Gemini on Free, and adds Claude plus Perplexity on Pro. Then it shows an AI Visibility Score with mentions, citations, surfaced competitors and prompt-by-prompt evidence.
Do I need an AI key for AI Visibility?
No. AI Visibility is a RankTwig-managed research workflow. Your own AI key is optional and separate, for supported reasoning workflows such as Investigations, Page Battle, Briefs and MCP.
What does BYOK mean?
Bring your own key. You connect a supported AI provider for supported reasoning workflows, and that provider bills your account directly. RankTwig does not sell a marked-up AI credit bundle.
Does Search Score come from Google?
No. Search Score is a transparent RankTwig metric built from the search evidence available in your workspace. Evidence confidence is shown separately, and the score is not a Google metric or ranking guarantee.
Can I connect more than one Google account?
Yes. One RankTwig workspace can hold multiple Google Search Console connections while each imported property remains tied to the correct Google account.
